When Eugenia's Bible-thumping mother kicks her out of the only home she's ever known for not being the girl that she gave birth to, Eugene agitates the gravel, hits the road, and moves to San Francisco, where he can live a fantabulous life freely as a transman.

But life isn’t golden when he makes it to San Francisco. Not one to give up on his dreams, Eugene doesn’t let discrimination, transphobia, and opportunists get in his way. There’s not a bridge too long or a hill too steep to travel. Eugene won’t let anything stop him from realizing a dream that won’t be deferred.
